This website is a sampling of multimedia projects that I’ve been involved in over the years as well as my latest music and arts based video projects as Melancolly productions.

Since graduating from IT Tallaght’s Audio Visual/Creative Media Degree in 2004 I have worked in various digital media production environments spanning graphic design, video production and editing, journalism, photography and web.

A short film I wrote and directed for my degree year video project won third place in the Best New Short Film category in the Galway Film Fleadh 2004 and was awarded first place in the following year’s Smedia Awards Short Film category.

After college I co-established Eyebrowy, a small independent animation production company which specialised in creating cartoons about the Irish music scene. From 2005-08 we were commissioned to produce content for TV broadcast (RTE: The Last Broadcast; BBC: Across The Line; MTV2: Gonzo); live events (Electric Picnic, Choice Music Prize) and corporate (Vodafone, Virgin Media). In 2006 we released a compilation DVD (‘I Prefer the Early Stuff’) through RMG.

I have worked in various other roles connected to the Irish music industry (Graphic Designer: Aiken Promotions ; Journalist (Hotpress) while also working on other music-related releases on a project basis from promoting gigs to designing album artwork and websites to making music videos.

Recently I have begun to establish Melancolly, my own independent music and arts video production setup, and Montage for documentary-style cinematic wedding video production.
